Can someone survive solely on a vegan diet? I doubt you can get all the necessary nutrients to survive

I don't think a solely vegan diet can provide all the nutrients necessary for human health. Animal products contain essential things plants can't.

I agree. Strict veganism inevitably leads to deficiencies since plants lack key vitamins only found in meat and dairy. It's unhealthy long-term.

Exactly, for example vitamin B12 is critical and only comes from animal sources. A vegan diet makes you deficient over time.

Right, and things like iron, zinc and omega fatty acids are most bioavailable and absorbed from meat, fish, eggs. Plants don't cut it.

No matter how you spin it, animal products provide the best forms of protein, calcium, amino acids. You need those to survive.

Absolutely. You can try supplements on a vegan diet, but they are never as good or effective. Our bodies evolved eating animals.

We evolved as omnivores for a reason, veganism goes against basic biology and human nutritional needs

Well said. Those pushing strict plant-based diets ignore the science, nutrient deficiencies develop and cause real harm. Did you see that streamer who died because of her raw fruit only diet?

For sure. I tried being vegetarian for a while and felt completely depleted. These fad diets never last for a reason.
