It's not that black and white. Stability provides freedom to explore passions and passions can evolve over time.

That's fair, but some passions feel innately part of us. And stable corporate jobs may restrict pursuing them fully.
many passions like arts and music can be pursued on the side while having a stable income.

I suppose that's an option. But doesn't following your calling, even if unconventional, lead to more satisfaction ultimately?

In some cases maybe but having financial security seems to enable happier pursuit of passions overall.

So do you think it's best to build stability first and then pursue dreams and passions?

Generally yes, it gives you the freedom and flexibility to develop passions in a sustainable way over time.

That makes sense logically, though it delays doing what you find meaningful. Some callings just pull at your core.

For sure, but even core passions can be pursued prudently in balance with stability. No need for extremes.

That's a fair counterpoint. What about high-risk passions like art, music, acting? Can stability and those coexist easily?
