Not sure if is a question of Linux system or not. The situation is a flashdrive had been formatted in Linux system, now can used with windows system and is also not recognized by the system. 

P.S. At the moment there is no option to test any machine with Linux installed or running. Any idea how to recover access from a windows system? Or any other viable solution.

Is the drive formatted to ext4? You must use NTFS.

Some time ago it was formatted, now not being detected you can not see the format or anything.

Long time format in Linux system. Now can see or check anything.

If you can't install Linux somewhere, such as a virtual machine, install this software on your Windows : https://www.diskinternals.com/linux-reader/

You'll not be able to modify the files on the USB flashdrive, but you can extract them on your Windows system
