Kali / Parrot / BlackArch depending on what you do and what you know about linux distro,
But Kali and parrot are just a Debian with tools.
and BlackArch a Archlinux with tools too.

The best way to get something that you need without useless things is to find the linux distro and environnement that you like and install needed tools on it.

i used to think kali was the way to go but parrot indeed has way more tools that can be useful in terms of hacking

for General use I like Debian. for pen testing purposes kali or partot cant go wrong. im not sere about parrot i find kali kind of annoying on bare metal so i'd visualize  it if you could.
