Do you think vaccines should be mandatory, or is it against individual rights

I believe vaccine mandates are necessary for public health, even if they infringe on certain individual rights. Preventing harm to others should be the priority.

I disagree. Forcing medical treatment, even vaccines, is a concerning overreach. People have a right to bodily autonomy that should be respected.

While that's a fair stance, widespread vaccination prevents contagious diseases from spreading and harming vulnerable populations.

I understand the public health angle, but still believe coercive mandates violate ethics and personal liberty. Education is better than coercion.

Believe it or not, many who refuse vaccines are misinformed. Educating likely won't sway those dedicated anti-vaxxers...

Even so, heavy-handed mandates only further their resistance and distrust. Forced medicine should be an absolute last resort.

In areas where not many people are vaccinated and diseases are spreading, we should step in to keep the community safe

But force often backfires, gentler policies like limiting public school enrollment for unvaccinated kids seem like a reasonable middle ground.

You raise a fair compromise. Strict mandates understandably disturb personal freedom advocates. but in times of imminent outbreak, they may be necessary as a last defense.
