Actually, you are suggesting nonsense. It would be better if the reputation system worked a little differently and users did not earn themselves 200-300-1000 reputation points for cat pictures, but only received points for confirmed hacks, fair trade and useful community work. But you are proposing to increase the number of "authoritative users" by liking their news posts or simply wishing them a good day. Reputation doesn't work that way.
