The space is still recovering. BF 1.0's takedown was a big deal, and so many small forums popped up afterwards that it was hard to find a new home that was 1) active but 2) actually competent. Things should improve as more and more people rejoin.

Even just relative to the first month of the site open it has quieted down a bit (which is to be expected to a certain degree, but its interesting how it has impacted the volume of posts especially on non leak related sub-forums lol). There is a lot of trust and reputation that has to be rebuilt and that takes time I guess, and I don't think some of the earlier drama/leak helped

This.  Just wait for some huge event to occur here that will cause a new influx of users.  BFv1 had many breaches that have been covered by external parties,   and I think this forum will have its chance too.

I have also rediscovered this forum. At the beginning, there will definitely not be as many people active as before. This can be reflected in the number of registered members, but gradually developing, it will definitely be the same as before
