Hello i've recently started learning the basics of hacking i.e linux , coding , networks but i wanted some advice on where to get started? and what would be the best things to try and hack as a beginner?

If you're just getting started look into TryHackMe and HacktheBox.

In general though ill summarize a post I seen a few weeks ago

Networking: Learn how it works
Scripting: Bash, Python, Powershell as a big 3
Portswigger Web Security
XSS, Injection, Pivoting, etc.
