Historically we are due for a world war. Countries have been trying hard to avert this situation but it seems now the dice has turned. That being said I think everyone will do their best to avoid escalation but this might mean that some countries will be sacrificed and the help they need might be denied. The problem is we do not know which western country will be the sacrificial victim yet.
