same. both are not bulletproof though
True, but using them is a good starting point.

Some extra tweaks (Tor bridge, encryption, etc.) would be great but that-s enough. Like Lotus said just use a live USB when you have no choice
I'm not familiar with Quebes, will have to check it out. I was planning on setting up Kali, as I'm familiar with it. Also setting up tor bridge/proxy through tor and use Mullvad. I mostly want to try reverse engineering some malware to figure out how it works.

I mostly use VMs, generally. I think it depends on your use case. For wifi stuff I use a bootable USB.

VM is good, USBs are slow. This forum account is currently banned. Ban Length: Permanent (N/A Remaining) Ban Reason: Attempted Scamming | https://breachforums.ai/Forum-Ban-Appeals if you feel this is incorrect.

If you are new to malware analysis always install Windows 10 on a VM -preferably the IoT version which has less bloatware- and install FlareVM. Maybe you already know this but just in case someone is looking
for more info on this. I don't know - maybe I will write a post about this for newbies
