In September 2024, VK (VKontakte), one of the largest social networking platforms in Russia, suffered a massive data breach. This breach exposed the personal information of hundreds of millions of users, including basic identification and location details.

Compromised Data: ID, Name, Surname, Sex, Profile Image, Country, City

The .7z File's MD5 Hash is 49C4266898BC6B6FBA47A27A71423061 . In total, there are 390,425,718 records. The file is 27.6GB uncompressed and 7.04GB compressed.

Totally 390 425 718 data lines.

No, that's not right (do you really think that Pavel Durov, whose id is 1, has the same phone number?!). And sure, such data could be gathered via VK API requests one by one... The problem is that VK servers don't like being requested too often , maybe 3-5 times per second from one dev id, not more.

All the data are public, and I suspect they are obtained through web crawlers or APIs. So their value is very limited!
