In a Truth Social post shared only moments ago, Trump wrote:

The United States of America has successfully carried out a large scale strike against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolas Maduro, who has been, along with his wife, captured and flown out of the Country. This operation was done in conjunction with U.S. Law Enforcement. Details to follow. There will be a News Conference today at 11 A.M., at Mar-a-Lago. Thank you for your attention to this matter! That's exactly what I addressed in my post. Maduro might have been a dictator, but what the Trump and his government did was clearly illegal and unjustified. You don't simply kidnap a president of a sovereign country just because of some drug vessels. The US had exactly zero reason to do all this.

As explained earlier, those are two separate matters. Doesn’t matter how bad of a person Maduro was. If the US can simply kidnap presidents because they’re dictators, why don’t Trump take Putin too?
