The UK’s largest online pharmacy, Pharmacy2U, has been hit by a ransomware attack that disrupted its services and exposed some of its customers’ personal data. The attack occurred on January 28 and affected the company’s website, app, and email system. Pharmacy2U said it was able to restore its services within 24 hours and that no medical records or payment details were compromised. However, it admitted that some customers’ names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, and NHS numbers were accessed by the attackers. The company said it was working with the police and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) to investigate the incident and that it had contacted the affected customers to offer them support and advice. Pharmacy2U apologized for the inconvenience and distress caused by the attack and said it had taken steps to enhance its security measures. This forum account is currently banned. maybe they are waiting to notify all users until they announce the news officially. but I didn't find any mention of Pharmacy2U on any ransom site.
but 8 months have passed since the alleged attack, if it is true this is a shame for the company especially since it is a ransom attack.
