Watch JoJo's bizarre adventures. Part 1 would most likely be boring for you but from part 2+ it will be good.

If you're new to the genre, I would recommend starting with a movie because the commitment is so much lower. I found series, especially those with 100+ episodes, very daunting as a starting point. I'd recommend films by either Hayao Miyazaki (Grave of the Fireflies is one of the most powerful films I've ever seen) or Makoto Shinkai (Weathering with You and Your Name are both great) as your introduction to the art.
