As stated in the title, I would like to know the first coding language you learned and your opinion about it. I'm a noob in coding and I'm still deciding if I go for Python or C++ so I would like to know about your experience and if possible some advices for a beginner.

Do not go for C++, please learn C first, C++ is for more advanced users and it abstracts a lot compared to C
Python to me is, pretty mid, it's slow unless you use a library that was written in C to do almost everything, and well, that's what most Python users use it for, to let a library do nearly everything for them

I learned Python back when version 3.4 was new; then I learned C++ in college. Around college, I learned C++, Jave, PHP, and GoLang but fell in love with Pythons simplicity. Python is pretty good if you want to hack together a quick PoC.

I started with Python. It's great for beginners due to its readability and large community. My advice: start with Python, learn the fundamentals, practice a lot, and then use AI tools to help you learn other languages like C++ if needed. Python's easy syntax helps focus on programming logic first

HTML is a markup language, not a coding language, but for me yes it's a first step in the programmation, moreover in HTML you have a scrpit markup and it will made a script in JS.
