Why does a 16oz bottle of soda cost $3 at the gas station, when you can go to a bigger market and purchase a 2Liter for $1-$1.50?
Convenience, availability and packaging.

If you know where to get it cheaper, you certainly can, just may end up taking extra time all said and done. And some people don't know the path, they'll get lost along the way, never making it to their destination.
Some people only value time/convenience and as a result they don't care for artificial currencies. It's here, they didn't have access to it prior lol.

Cheers! I checked about 20 minutes ago and it seems archive.org is down for "maintenance" , though the index back up now, but searching for thepostmillennial brings back up the "down for maintenance" page again.

And, this thread made it to the first page of results when you search "thepostmillennial breach" - so a lot of people should be able to download it that wouldn't have known how prior.

That they did, and I'd agree. The mailing list has some gems in it, but you have to have a specific use case to make any use out of it.
