Easiest ways to check yourself:
1.) objects vanish from the bottom upwards, if earth wasnt round you could see infinitly far AND being further up wouldnt mean u could also see further, which can only happen on a round earth.
2.) other celestial objects, e.g Moon
3.) Newtonian pendulum, while it doesnt proove the shape of the earth it prooves that its spinning.
4.) changing stars in the sky by season and or place, wouldnt happen if the earth was flat. also you could see the same constellations at two very far away places if earth were flat, but u cannot
