I don't know how many of you read books here on this topic,

But I highly recommend The Art Of Manipulation by Omar Johnson.

It's under 80 pages so you read it in one sitting and covers the fundamentals of manipulation.

I really wouldn't go out Sim-Swapping or whatever you may do without knowing the techniques covered here.

im genuinely fascinated about how much psychology plays into the entire online world. ofc this goes for social engineering but stuff like web development too. if you are building a webshop, you need to be able to persuade as many viewers as possible to purchase from that online store. changing the position of a "purchase now" button can have a massive impact on your conversion rate. i read some studies and apparently the average attention span of a newly visited website is under a second, so if it's not appealing, they move on. i will give this book a try and also attempt to find the pdf version. if i get my hands on it ill post it here

I also recommend everyone to read Social Engineering: The Art of Human Hacking. It's quite long but worth it.
