I don't know where he lives but setting up solar panels and buying batteries is very expensive. Only batteries can cost from 3\4K upwards.
Setting up a photovoltaic system costs a lot of money, you also need inverters, I think it's a minimum expense of 6k but it depends on how many kilowat you want to put.

Why part time? It's going to take way longer if you go part time. You could go full time and go hard until you get what you need, but in the end get a job that isn't being someone's slave. Most jobs are build to keep people as slaves and give them the average life people are simply "satisfied" with because it's an upgrade from their previous lifestyle. We aren't meant to work for 40 years just to die for nothing. It's complete slavery. Since you don't have an independent source of income, you might have to lick boots for a while. Be your own boss eventually or you'll be a slave for life. Put that solar power to good use, even if it's crypto mining with it.
