Hello everyone,

I am currently on a journey to deepen my understanding of cybersecurity, specifically in the area of PHP exploits. My goal is to reach a level of proficiency where I can develop my own PHP shells or payload exploits for ethical hacking purposes.

I understand that this is a complex field that requires a solid foundation in PHP, as well as a deep understanding of web security principles. I am eager to learn and am looking for guidance on what specific areas in PHP I should focus on to achieve my goal.

I would greatly appreciate any advice or resources you could provide to help me on this journey. I am committed to using this knowledge responsibly and ethically, and I look forward to contributing to the cybersecurity community.

Thank you in advance for your guidance.

First, you must understand what shells do, all of them do one thing, which is to make it easy for you to interact with the server or the other services on the server like Database

For example:

1- how to list the files on the server and show them on the shell

2- how to make a new directory or text file using your shell

If you want to do that in the future you must understand how PHP interacts with the system server, for example (How PHP interacts with Ubuntu to make new files)

In conclusion: ask yourself a question (what future do I need for my shell ?), then (What do I need to learn to make the future that I need)
