It doesn't look like that. I think Putin was as suprised as democrates. Putin would rather helped democrates as they would continue with division among Americans what would make the country weaker, weak country would bring chaos. With chaos, democrat USA would start givig up on Ukraine and let's not forget that a lot of democrates invested a LOT in this war, they didn't send their aid for free, like with WWII...interesting time upon us.
