1) I would like to know in 2024, which RAT Tools would you recommend ?

2) Also, what are the pros of using a RAT Tool over a metasploit reverse shell? (or some open source tools that gives you a shell).

3) Finally, what tool would you recommend in 2024 to obfuscate the payload in a .pdf file ?

consider using a dropper aka malware that downloads and executes more malware in this case a RAT
you could also use a VBA macro in word/excel and use that to drop exe

also you can use some tricks that make a file look like it is a pdf but it actually isn't. like in this medium article
