A couple weeks ago we created a discord server regarding the archival and potential restoration of a discontinued yugioh mmo that was running from 2005-2012

As far as we are aware of, the only leaks on that game are some duel replay data from 2009 (that were capured by web.archive) and a user back then who tracked and published server traffic for the games third version on the epvpers forum.

Today a user joined this discord, who claims to have said games sourcecode that got presumably leaked/they aquired, that is from 2012.
They claim to aquire and sell sourcecode by trade. 
I very much doubt that they are actually legit, at least when searching the clearnet, I wasn't able to find any Yugioh related leaks from 2012.

Tl;dr: So my question is: Has anyone on here ever heard/got a source on a yugioh game related leak from 2012 ?

Update: He was trying to scam, he demanded pay after sending me some obvious fake screenshots, I still wonder if anyone has ever heard or saved something regarding a leak of this game

Haha yea, but he's also trying to scam people in general claiming to have xy's games source code. I hope no one actually believes that guy, but you'd be very naive and kinda stupid to get tricked by his obvious fake screenshots.

By now, I know that he got my contact info on the epvpers forum, where he also has a thread claiming to have source code on Ragnarok Origin

I'm a little mad about it, because for a second I believed there might be leaked source code of that game.

Do you know of any sites where you could find source code like that, researching this topic I found an old news article about a github clone on the darknet which "contains controversial code" but the onlion links to this site are dead it seems.

Thanks a lot, the mods on r/yugioh wouldn't agree, they banned me and removed every Thread I did on this game, even though Yugioh players might be interested in these games archival/potential restoration, it's just they don't like the game personally and are such big Fanboys of Master Duel, which in their opinion is the much superior Yugioh game.

I've always been of the mind, that emulation is salvation & things like old works and stuff in progress should be archived into the public domain, as there are a wealth of people who mod and develop out of passion, who could carry the torch.
