It definitely leaked before 2020, 2014-2016 is the time period when the leak occurred in my opinion, but only the publisher of the original topic on rf could know the exact date.

investigated this earlier, the date of the breach somewhere between late 2012- early 2013. this was before planetminecraft introduced email:login; as you can see, all the data are username:pws

I also suspect it's around 2013, it's been around for years but I don't think anyone actually knows its source.
