the day before

*the sports minister suffers from dysentery after swimming in a dirty river where athletes will compete
*an Australian tourist was raped by five men. No arrests have been made yet.
*unknown individuals robbed the Australian Olympic cycling team and an Argentina football player

lol what do you expect from Paris, it's a horrible city. Have you heard of the Paris syndrome, it's popular among Japanese tourists who come to Paris, cause the city is so idealized in Japanese culture that when the tourists actually go to Paris, they end up having a severe culture shock cause the city fails to live up to expectations Big GrinD

In addition to your list:

When South Korea team was passing , they were presented in both French and in English as Democratic Republic of Korea (aka North Korea) which made the south koreans pretty unhappy Big Grin and no surprise, I would be angry in their place as well , I mean they are real life nemesis countries , fighting with balloons which is my fav type of ongoing war as we speak Big Grin
