I prefer Linux for its customization and open-source nature. It's stable and great for programming and development tasks.

I prefer Arch Linux because it is very versatile. I think Kali is overrated, so try ParrotOS instead.
For gaming on Linux there are a lot of launchers like Heroic Launcher (for Epic Games and GOG) and Steam have a lot of games runnig on Linux with Proton and Wine.

I enjoyed XP, 7 and 10. I'm leaning more and more towards Mac OS and Ubuntu though. Windows is getting way too spooky with their AI and forced web logins.
