New device bypass (instagram/google/facebook etc.)

How do people bypass the security of those websites where if you log in from another device, they ask you to confirm on a trusted device that it is you ?

I tried with my accounts and well everytime it asked me to confirm that it was indeed me that tried to login.

Except social engineering and I don't know putting a remote acess software on a trusted device, I don't seem to find a solution. It would help me a lot to understand the flaws in cybersecurity of those websites
