Is monero a "Bulletproof" cryptocurrency or it only has challenging trackability. Some companies claimed that they can track your money even when using Monero

The companies want to sell their product, what they claim is bullshit

Its privacy features seem really solid to me, much better anonymity than coins like Bitcoin. Monero is still missing compared to leading projects tho

Monero nails privacy, which is my top priority. But higher TPS and programmability like some platforms have could improve functionality.  Though tradeoffs often come with those.

There are always tradeoffs. I wish Monero was as fast and scalable as Solana, but then privacy might suffer. Same with smart contract flexibility compared to Ethereum.

Exactly, most optimizations sacrifice some decentralization, security or privacy. Faster and cheaper is enticing but can mean hidden costs. Monero prioritizes privacy over all else.

Its privacy merits seem incredibly valuable in the crypto space to me but you are right, things like limited scalability and slow confirmation times are drawbacks for sure.

for a privacy first chain, I'll take slightly slower and steadier. Some concessions enable true fungibility and censorship resistance. at the end it depends on use case priorities.

Monero's privacy is irreplaceable but for DeFi and dapps other coins may work better

Monero really shone a light on the need for confidential transactions. Most chains are still playing catch up on that front years later.
