Just to give you a heads-up, nothing’s coming through marionette anymore. If you check out the processes, you’ll see that Alex is running Harvest. That’s where everything’s being used to rewrite Alex’s key and gain access via SSH to get the user.txt file. You need to read Alex’s email in /var/mail/alex; there’s an attachment inside. If you need anything, just reach out.

Finally got root, the box really deserve the insane difficulty !
I confirm the unintended path is fixed (Marionette) and the intended one is pretty interesting.

I am calling it a night - I still need to de-hash these an match Morty password - just looking for other alternatives.
