Lockbit seized by feds

There done regardless of whatever they do next. Lockbitsupp taking access from a forum member and saying he will pay the IAB his share when/if he gets a payout from the corp. Then he turns around in his own provided chat logs with the IAB after that corp paid and tells the him he's only willing to pay a "blind access" fee which is what you would pay up front without knowing if you would get a payout or not.  This is what got him banned from xss and exploit as a ripper in late January. The affiliates have notoriously bad opsec on a ransom portal because they feel safe so a lot of them will get nailed/some already have.

If LE is to be believed they claim to know who lockbitsupp is/what car he drives/where he lives/.etc so he'll have crazy heat on him if that's the case. At the least they'll have a hard time getting affiliates back because they failed to patch a public php cve and they already had a problem getting or keeping dev's for new versions even before the raid because it seems they don't pay what they said they would.

Just like the dev that leaked there v3 builder last year for not getting paid that sounds quite familiar to the case above with the xss member.

I'll never understand sitting on 110 mill minimum and getting cheap about paying your dev or access broker. I really wouldn't have guessed they would be that way towards partners :/ Hopefully that's not the case and turns out to be different.

Linkedin said ALPHV and Lockbit (and one other) were all the same group.

However ALPHV reached out to vx-ungerground to say Lockbit are "pussies". So we'll see I guess.

It is only offline temporarily. The FBI cannot wipe out the entire organization. Lockbit will be back soon.
