Any thoughts on the Netflix live action One Piece? I for one am glad that it has a good cast from what I have seen so far. Definitely compressing the timeline from the original but nothing to terrible so far.

It was changed so much. Poor Don Krieg didn't deserve that. he didn't get to use his Golden haki and his fleet of 5,000 being spawnkilled by fraudhack was brushed over. Kuina's reason of death wasn't provided (Down D Stairs, Zoro must actually be her), Merry died, nami's mom wasn't killed in front of the whole town, garp would NOT have cared that much, arlong nerf'd hard (blue haki, also strongest in the water), hatchan wasn't included, sanji's eyebrows aren't curly (whole cake island wouldn't make sense anymore), usopp's story wasn't given justice, etc. I rate it 4/10, but if you haven't consumed any of one piece, maybe a 9/10. They really did their own thing.

i still prefer Baki. It is super cool even tho the LIve action of one piece is awesome

Still working my way through but I agree they nerfed Arlong and did no justice to his character or the villain he was supposed to be.

The CGI can be a bit uneven. Some of the CGI effects are excellent, but others look a bit dated.
