It may or may not be as you say. What is for sure is that it is much better to delete old content and accounts than to have them active (often without remembering you have them).

Moreover, in some of the old forums, thanks to the current legislation, it is possible to delete the account. Previously it was not possible, but there are still many that do not allow it or put many obstacles.
