What I'm looking for is something self hostable/integratable that is similar to Ebay's bidding system, eg anyone can bid, top bid gets product after payment, no one pays unless they win.

Been looking for awhile, can't find this, anyone know of one?
If it doesn't exist, how much could one of you guys make it for (estimate, not buying rn)

If you want something very comprehensive, smart contracts and extension like MetaMask come into play. However, if you don't need something too comprehensive, there is a very simple solution: you can allow users to top up their balance with crypto and enable them to bid in auctions using that balance. Third-party crypto APIs can be used (I don't recommend it), or you can write your own payment system using Tronpy, web3.js, etc
