I was searching for older stuff on nyaa and I encountered with a French group that edited old animes full of filler scenes and make them closer to the manga. Some don't even have a manga version in itself but they're still cutting off the scenes that are just there for time wasting crap.
Finished YuYu Hakusho through their version and it's for real more dynamic. For example, the 1st episode of HxH covers 5 chapters in 50 minutes, while the original version covers 1 manga chapter in 2 episodes, and it was muuuuch better than watching the normal one that does everything it can to drag the togashi storyline. Shame it's still on the 1st episode, with french subtitles still, but for whoever understands it, it's smooth.
