IPhone 14 : Is it worth it?

Hello Breach community!

Good to see you again.

I want to start a new debate here about the recent Apple products, especially the Iphone 14 and Iphone 14 Pro. Obviously those are good phones but they are soo expensive: do you think it is worth spending so much money on a device or is it just a big scam?

Going to sell my kidney to get one.

I think people nowadays know whenether they need an iphone or not (1.do you have other apple devices? 2.do you need advanced accessibility features?).

If you do, and the current device is starting to age (hardware or software) it might be worth it.
Tho I would urge to look 1 or 2 generations back and second hand markets.

In my opinion only the iPads real value for money.

Rest all the apple products are overpriced.

Yeah the thing is that Apple is very good at keeping their customers into the brand ( connectivity only between Apple devices etc.) so the users would feel that they cannot do without an Apple phone

I got an iPhone 11, and, while it's not horrible I still can't understand the outdated quirks of these devices..

Why, the hell, do I need an iMac or macbook to properly sync and move pictures between libraries... ? Still in 2023
Why is iTunes still old garbage software, with no real alternatives?

iPhones are great for simplicity and if you have other apple devices. but if you want something actually somewhat private and secure, try a Pixel with graphene or calyxos (and if you dont enable/install google services, usability suffers but eh, no google)

Yeah the Apple ecosystem is probably the most genius thing they created to keep their customers but also a very cynical way to do it

Fucking hate their software. I still use an old iPhone 8, only issue is the battery sucks but that can be fixed. I like an iPad for reading too, just used to it at this point. Their whole business model is cancer though.

Too overpriced compared to its features imo. If you have that much money to spend on a phone and care about privacy I'd recommend getting a high end android like S23 and debloating it
