This is awesome! Congrats! When I had a channel in 2013, I was allowed to monetize it, even with 10 subscribers. Now they set the bar so high.

In my experience its mostly using tags and backlinks etc. I use the free VidIQ extension for SEO. It gives a lot of suggestions to optimize your videos
