As my contribution to this respectful cooking forum, I will be sharing my recipe and instructions for vanilla cupcakes.


Vanilla Cupcakes
Ingredients:

• 1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour
  
• 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  
• ¼ tsp salt
  
• ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  
• ¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
  
• 2 large eggs
  
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
  
• ½ cup (120ml) milk
  

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven – Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
   
2. Mix Dry Ingredients – In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
   
3. Cream Butter & Sugar – In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes).
   
4. Add Eggs & Vanilla – Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
   
5. Combine Wet & Dry – Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined (don’t overmix!).
   
6. Fill Cupcake Liners – Divide the batter evenly among the liners, filling each about ⅔ full.
   
7. Bake – Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
   
8. Cool & Frost – Let the cupcakes cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before frosting.
   

Optional Frosting Idea:
Mix 1 cup (230g) softened butter, 3 cups (360g) powdered sugar, 2 tbsp milk, and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Beat until creamy and pipe onto cupcakes!

I just use boxed cake batter and put it into muffin tins. I think all I need is an egg. You know, and the box of chemicals.
