Start with knowing networking very well, I would follow and learn the necessary information to obtain certs in the cybersecurity field. Sprinkle in some coding like python and rust

I suggest that you start learning the basics of Linux, then learn Kali Linux, and use tools such as nmap, metasploit, Burpsuite, sqlmap, etc.

Kali is the best starting point, look into that OS, and then everything else will just come to you Smile

Also try expanding scope and once you manage to learn the surface level learn each one by one and it will all connect all together

the most efficient way to learn is by doing. it's possible to learn something and not be able to apply it, especially things that have a lot of abstraction to them.

Learn the essentials first, how computers work at the hardware and machine code level, just understand those basics

Understand networking, the network stack

understand basic OS and software stuff like Kernel, user space, how are programs managed and separated from eachother, what is a shell, what is a terminal

understanding security concepts like encryption, compartmentalization and how they work

Do hack the box or something but always work on these understandings while you're doing a traject, you need a big picture understanding but also to dive deep into a thing when you need it

*understanding security concepts like encryption, compartmentalization and how they work
