this might be a stupid question but are new posts and new threads the only things that give you credits? on the table it looks like they give 1 each and everything else is 0. why list them all if they don't give any credits?

It's one credit per thread/post.

If you knew how to see, you may have been able to find the database icon in the top right. The number to the right of that is your current amount of credits. Clicking the icon will bring you to a page that show you how to get credits.
