Learn your IT skills well. Without them you can't hack.

https://www.hackthebox.com/ is useful and fun. If you read walkthroughs make sure you understand what's happening.

https://github.com/Orange-Cyberdefense/GOAD is also good for learning corp networks with AD and there's lots of blogs to read at the bottom of that repo.

If you are studying IT, you are already on your journey!
There should be cybersecurity classes in your curriculum, which are always a blast! They teach you how to hack to better defend against hacking!
