most easy to reproduce would be to intercept with burp or frida or both during a transfer between 2 wallet
flash transaction is already existing in normal swift transfer
same method money appear and dissapear
so the owner think he get paid and release your money or paid you
in swift is by cancelling the transfert the flash happened
in crypto you cant cancel transaction so the transaction have to be corrupt at one point to not be totally accepted
that mean something in the request is modified to only fail at last moment
so the crypto appear to the victim wallet but the transaction never finish and get abandonned so is going back to sender

Is called flash because it come from a preview scam made over swift called flash transfer

mean the amount appear then after certain time the money dissapear because it was never there only on screen

if a corp send money to you, then call the bank and ask to stop the fund, if you do it how it have to, the money appear on other account but he never get it

same is reproduce for crypto, something in the process make that transaction is not confirmed totaly, like alf confirmed, so that corruption inside make transaction cancelled
