Only if they pass a competence and IQ check, retarded parents can be worse than the school system which is unbelievable but true

That helps, though I still think socialization is critical during formative years. Homeschooling limits that.

Socializing can happen through local groups, activities and online. Also traditional schools have issues too like bullying, i personally suffered from this and wish i was home schooled.
