Work has begun to cut down about 120,000 trees in the forest that is the setting for many of the Brothers Grimm's mythical stories. Trees are being cut down to install wind turbines.

Since the forest is national property and not the property of the surrounding municipalities, the project is the responsibility of green politician Priska Hinz, Hesse's environment minister.

If you live where there is a lot of sun and you put panels on the roof of your house, then it is useful. But if you cut down the forest to put these panels, you will get a desert.

If you live where there is a lot of sun and you put panels on the roof of your house, then it is useful. But if you cut down the forest to put these panels, you will get a desert.

Also, Solar Panels can't be recycled afaik & have a life of about 10 years.
