one thing that kept tripping me up on this one was that I opened 2 ssh connections - on one I updated $PATH, and on the other one I was trying to go through the steps in notes and it kept failing because - obviously - PATH update is only for the current session.. so after going through steps in notes in the same session where I updated PATH, it worked out
