Fake Call Centre in Hyderabad Busted for Duping US Citizens

A fake call centre in Hyderabad, India, has been busted for duping US citizens. The call centre employees posed as IRS officials and tricked victims into paying thousands of dollars in fraudulent taxes. The scam is believed to have defrauded victims of over US$1 million. The 115 people arrested in the case are facing charges of cheating, forgery, and criminal conspiracy.
