This is SSDI, the Social Security Death Index.

Given that it is 85M, it's probably the one from 2011ish, so old dead people, not fresh dead people.

... yup, it's from a file dated December 6, 2011 (my copy, at least, which is the original files from the SSA, not this semicolon version someone put together), based on the November 30, 2011 version from the SSA.
