I'm use under linux a command "grep" for search in multiple file and récuring folder

example

grep -P -R -i -w 'first-name.*last-name|last-name.*fisrt-name' /folder/file.csv or.txt or .xls. or .sql

it's simple and very fast

idem command awk

on window wirh power shell

Hi,
Since the LinkedIn leak, i've made a little script written in C to search easily occurrences in a csv file.

You just need to compile using "make {program_name}" for the most beginners.

It's takes around 8-10s to run the 12Gb linkedIn database so, that's fine lol.

My first contribution i wish it could help !!

I usually mount a MariaDB docker container and insert in it the csv leak files.

I always wonder, why ppl in this forum prefers C over Python ? is it cuz C is lower lvl then python and used for efficency and speed or its smtgh else im missing ?
