Is fairly minimized. No GUI or desktop apps make much lighter weight. Works well on old hardware.

I tried fedora on main server and we will see how it goes, on second server I plan to run nixOS or FreeBSD and on third server I will be playing with ubuntu minimized :3

OpenBSD is a nice OS but too schizo for me, for now I'm okay with operating FreeBSD

I heard about alpine but I never took deep dive into it, can you tell me more about it? I would also love to hear your opinion about OpenBSD, I'm curious why are you recommending that OS

you can always download an ubuntu distro with a different de than gnome, but debian is much more lightweight

Try Debian 12, without X. Super fast, rock solid.
