i am fairly sure discord stores every message ever sent and given how searchable the chats i am in are even going back years at this point, the entire history of discord is probably indexed. imagine what a treasure trove of good data that would be...

Discord has raised $279.3 million dollars[4] and it has to return on this investment. (which is more than 279.3 million dollars that has to be paid back)

this is of course not strictly true as equity investment doesn't necessarily carry interest. it would be true if the investment was pure debt, but i doubt they went down that road as tech companies are notoriously difficult to get into the black and the leverage the debt carries would threaten bankruptcy until they hit that elusive profitability. more likely to be equity investments
