Yo guys, any idea/help.. I'll be exploring data science and cyber security fields these days and i'm also tryna work on both these fielda.. Any idea on which better and based on what axes should i choose a field regardless if i like it or not

Either area offers well paying opportunities , to me I find cybersecurity more fun.

Both areas offer plenty of interesting opportunities and they are more linked than what people think, a lot of overlapping skills and concepts

I guess it depends ultimately on what your trying to achieve. If you're looking at both as an option there are business and employment opportunities with both over lapping. That said long run wise I would probably say look at what intrigues you and see if you have a passion for. I would hate to wake up each day and work in a field that I simply dreaded.

Have you considered what in these fields you would be looking to do, I mean off the top of my head DS alone I think you has 12 or so major specialization and cyber-security you have I don't know how many anymore.

I think cybersecurity is much more specific and focused. Data science is less specifc and can apply to many different industries. So data science may offer more options and there might be more jobs in different fields.

You can probably start learning both and explore the intersections between them like using machine learning to do something useful in cyber security

Cyber Security, as that will be extremely valuable in the future and could be a bit more interesting, although it's really up to you and your qualities

Which side of the coin interests you more? Data Science is probably more accessible, but that's not necessarily a good thing.
